Get to know Fenil Kadhiwala
I used to play baseball and basketball. I played baseball until 5th grade and I played basketball until 7th grade. I am passionate about sports and work. In my free time, I like to watch TV, work, play with my younger brother and hang out with my family. The most ridiculous lie that I have ever told is to my parents about getting a certain grade that I didn't really get. I told this lie because I didn't want to make my parents upset. When I write, I usually have an outline to go with the essays and make sure it flows before I put the finishing touch on it. I would describe my writing experience so far as a learning experience. I want to become a better writer by following my professor's feedback and getting help from the Academic Student Center. The recent book that I read cover to cover was Jean Anyon on different academics in social classes. I usually spend around 15-20 minutes on both Facebook and Snapchat. I want to learn more about The Good Lord Bird this semester and I also want to become a better writer so that I can be successful in everything I do. The definition of a hero to me is someone who will do anything for the people and that they will also be there anytime they are needed. The true definition of a hero is someone who helps everyone no matter what kind of problem it is. The last time I failed was when I was having math finals. I learned from this experience that no matter how much you fail, you should keep trying harder and keep practicing to be a better person everyday. I rate myself a B- or C+. I rate myself this because I know I can be a better writer and get a better grade. Right now, I'm just an average writer who is trying to better and be successful in what I do.
